ARTIST PROFILE

I understand my practice as reflection upon the inescapable and pressing issues of our times.

In the streets, we are constantly faced with poverty, inequality, waste and alienation.  In this way, the streets act as living archive, where I develop an ongoing research project, and which also functions as never-ending platform to show work.

Nowadays we live in a world where the vast majority of people can read, and the Internet made information instantly and globally accessible, but pinpointing the truth and engaging in meaningful dialogue is getting increasingly difficult. I propose that through collectively thinking about (and even making) art, we can facilitate spaces for these dialogues, and that over times this will puncture capitalism’s ‘absorbent void’.
